you will always be everything I need
greater than my best dreams a love supreme
always beautiful to me, always beautiful to me
since I saw your face no one can take your place
reigning crown robed in majesty
always beautiful to me
you will always be everything I need
greater than my best dreams a love supreme
always beautiful to me, always beautiful to me
since I saw your face no one can take your place
reigning crown robed in majesty
always beautiful to me
you will always be everything I need
greater than my best dreams a love supreme
always beautiful to me, always beautiful to me
since I saw your face no one can take your place
reigning crown robed in majesty
always beautiful to me

George, what a lovely tribute to love. An antidote to my bleeding poem of yesterday! Left you a message on mine.
May you always shine in the beauty of your words in the poem, my dear friend. Bless you. S
Thanks, Shaheen! To truly know the joy and the sorrow one must know both extremes…we just might be covering the full spectrum.

George

hi there
I hope that this “you” that u have written about is not a phantom but a reality to you… though realities are relative most of the times.

Hello! Yes, she was real. There are times, of course, when imagination leads to the development of an idea, character or situation, but not in this case. In fact, she was the inspiration for this entire series of songs along with the circumstances at the time.
Thanks for stopping by!
Such a lovely love poem! Beautiful!
Thanks, Fergiemoto! Glad you enjoyed it!
Lovely poem… It almost has the feel and rhythm of a villanelle…
Thanks! Can’t say that I had a villanelle in mind but I like the reference. Perhaps in similar fashion, I usually don’t follow a traditional form as much as adapt one and/or establish a pattern once I’ve settled on a concept. Variety!
This is simply beautiful, George, and I love this line: carousel skies minstrels shine, such beauty it evokes!
Sometimes love just makes you want to dance and sing!
enjoyed, looking forward to more
Thanks! More to come…
