To Love and Live

“Never cease loving a person and never give up hope for him, for even the Prodigal Son who had fallen most low could still be saved. The bitterest enemy and also he who was your friend could again be your friend; love that has grown cold can kindle again.”
Soren Kierkegaard

Where love abounds, life is certain to be safe. Love is the creative force that both generates and conserves life. Love is the supreme outreach to life, beyond all fear. Deep within all people is the well-founded suspicion that they should be having a love affair with life. They should taste it, touch it and shape it into expressions of happiness.

To live with this love is to live with divine wisdom, love itself. Indeed, our purpose is not to live and love, but to love and live.

Thanks! I watched many sunrises to learn this. There’s nothing like that feeling of love basking brightly in vibrant sunshine. 🙂

That is a very profound quote…. I haven’t seen my son is a while, but I know that with my prayers he will need fall so low and no matter what, I will always love him. Thanks!

That is the beauty of authentic love, it bears and endures all things. Prayer is often more powerful than we realize, both for ourselves and those whom we are concerned about. Be patient.
      Peace

      Excellent point, David.
The pendulum really can swing from one end of the spectrum to the other and for all involved. And the lighter side is much nicer!
      Cheers,
