I was pleasantly surprised to receive this award from a lovely lady and fellow blogger, Francina. She conveyed this in appreciation for my blog and music and I am both honored and delighted to respond. So, here it goes!
Mrs. Sparkly’s rules are ten questions that you must answer honestly:
1. Describe yourself in seven words.
This is certainly a challenge: creative, honest, intellectual, kind, loving, faithful, outgoing
2. What keeps you up at night?
Ideas – music, poetry, philosophy – life! And wine…in a good way, of course!
3. Whom would you like to be?
Myself. I’ve peeled away the layers enough times to know my faults and grievances as well as my attributes. I’m far from perfect but through it all I’ve grown into who I am and I like who I’ve become.
4. What are you wearing now?
Shorts, a t-shirt and sandals.
5. What scares you?
What scares me most are the limitations of how much I can or cannot help those people whom I cherish most when they suffer. That and a large man with a knife in a dark alley, but that’s another story!
6. What are the best and worst things about blogging?
I must echo Francina’s viewpoint here. “The best things are that you meet so many creative people and make new friends all over the world. The worse thing is limitation of time when you would like to keep up with all of their posts.”
7. What was the last website you looked at?
Facebook.
8. If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
I suppose patience. On the other hand, living while attempting to improve is part of life, focusing on the strengths while working on the weaknesses.
9. Slankets, yes or no?
Definitely, no. Just like Linus, I prefer my fleece blanket!
10. Tell us something about the person who tagged you.
Francina is an insightful poet and wonderful photographer whose unique outlook sines through her work. Her friendly and caring way is evident all throughout her blog. I look forward to becoming friends and sharing many more conversations with her.
